In our previous content, Karan DK mentioned about education being the primary need for our country to prosper. We at Earthen Me understand his viewpoint and have decided to do something to take Karan’s thought forward. We have tied up with an NGO called Sarthak Prayas based in Delhi. Sarthak Prayas runs a school named Divya Sanskar in Pakkakheda Village near Karnal wherein they are teaching about 250 underprivileged children from nearby villages free of cost. Sudipta Basak: I love almost everything about INDIA the way it achieved freedom after 200 years off slavery was spectacular (though many people would derogate it by saying why it took 200 years?? but I am sure freeing a country is no child’s play). I love the way people of almost all different races and traditions and cultures live here…peacefully (yet sometimes communal fights do breakout…but everything has its pros n cons)…happily…I adore it. I want to tell every one that.. don’t misuse the freedom by taking it granted by thinking that it is your freedom of corruption..freedom of abusing.. or freedom of indiscipline.. be sincere to maintain the freedom of India. We like this message as it tells us to take an action with which we can certainly transform our nation into a great nation.

Karan DK: I being a student so according to me a noticeable change is “Expansion of Education” as we r to see dat more and more ppl r gettin educated there lss no. of uneducated compare to the educated. Because of which many positive changes are seen in india, also the education is gettin modified. Earlier students were taught on black board bt nw there taught on smart class. Education also brings a huge employment due to which life-style of ppl is gettin higher and higher …………:) Happy republic day ………:) 
So i would say Padhega India tabhi to Badhega India.. Also the great discoveries like that of 0 by Aryabhatta ji ,Shankaracharya’s ji work, Rabindranath Tagore ji’s work in Literature Let these all great people inspire US n help India to make a TRANSITION FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRY TO A DEVELOPED COUNTRY…:) JAI HIND!!. Karan has probably hit upon the most important thing that needs to be done in our country – expansion of education. We need more schools, more colleges and more universities. Champalal Modi: Diversity is our legacy..Harmony our creed..Unity our mission..Equality for all is our main goal!. Although the message tells us about the key words that should define who we are but it fails to give us a  certain plan of action.

Sayan Das Barman: Thanx to God for giving me the chance to belong to a race who are not enjoying their domination hereditarily,it is the sweetest fruit of a hard fighting of our real heroes for snatching our freedom……This fighting of our real heroes always inspires me to stand against any indomitable situations or circumstances that I have ever faced in my life….At every birth whatever I am want to be an Indian,,really proud to be an Indian,,I am an Indian and this is enough to feel myself proud,,after all this is my India……The message hits the right chord as far as patriotism is concerned but does not really define how can one channelize his feelings towards doing something good for the country.

Jai Hind!!!!  The message does a good job of reminding us but like many others does not give us any vision for the future.

Kiran Nathani: Republic Day is important for us beacause it the day when our constitution came into the act on 26th january,1950. Every Indian’s heart is filled with love and pride about his nation(india). it is so important because its the result of long struggle of we indians to get freedom from the british . . .because of this freedom we are now so developed.which is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and till date India has been celebrating this day with grandeur and pride, So republic day is most important for us. “The majority of India’s constitutional provisions are either directly arrived at furthering the aim of social revolution or attempt to foster this revolution by establishing conditions necessary for its achievement.”.. jai hind bharat mata ki jai. None of the above messages spoke about republic day in particular but that from Kiran. Although Kiran does an amazing job at making us proud of our republic day but does not give us any roadmap for our future.

Howard Robard Hughes Ankit: Republic Day is Important to all INDIANS because we born here and we know how much our soldiers fight for us to make INDIA free and also on 26th Jan our constitution made which makes us bound to our brothers (The people of nation) and make India beautiful so we proud to be an Indian. The message brings out the contribution of our armed forces whom we almost neglect every time. As rightly said, while we sleep in our homes peacefully, brave soldiers are fighting for us in extreme conditions.

Because if this is what is making a Hindustan today then we individuals have to make small changes in our mannerism and etiquettes before we go on blaming the system. In case you are wondering this is what Tarunika wants, that is not the case, as she mentions in the beginning : this is what she wants people not to do” We hope through our blog more and more people will read what Tarunika has to say.

Ratan Tata is more than 70 years old but he is still passionate about his work in the company. Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is around 65 years old and the only reason he is still doing something like Paa because he loves what he does. If you look around, you will many more such examples.

This means that if you LOVE what you are doing, chances of you being happy and hopefully successful are that much higher. We at Earthen Me are building a company that has the potential to bring in a revolution. We are creating a lifestyle change in the Indian consumers. It has its challenges but the only reason why we wake up at 7AM in the morning to drive to our office almost 30 km away is that we just LOVE doing this. And that is what keeps us going when the chips are down and challenges are many.

With this theme, we recently did a contest for our FB fans ( at www.facebook.com/earthenme) wherein they had to tell us what they love doing the most and share a story around the same. The contest somehow seem to have stuck a lot of connect with our fans as the response was overwhelming. The activity on our page shot up almost ten folds.

Simply because there are so many people out there who are in love with what they are doing or have been able to find something which makes them happy, all the entries in the contest are winners in themselves. We however choose a winner based on the expression of the story shared and a mandatory contest condition of having at-least 5 likes to it. Remember one thing though, all of our WINNERS OF LIFE.

We take a look at all the entries briefly before announcing the winner:

1. Hema Kumar – Hema loves watching cartoons and it pushes away her worries and bad temper. Watching cartoons has an innocent charm with it and brings back our memories of being children.

To go green is also a choice which an individual can make. But one needs to have the options to make that choice. So, if you want to buy a solar car, but there is none available in the market, you don’t have an option with you to go green. If you do not want to carry a plastic bag but if the shopkeeper always sells you his stuff in a plastic bag, you again don’t have an option to choose to go green.

Earthen Me is that option. It is a platform which lets consumers make a green choice. However, the game is not that easy. It is not as if, you would provide an option to the people, and they would be willing to take it. The information or the product as the case may be needs to be packaged innovatively and interestingly for the consumers to notice you and then hopefully accept you.

At Earthen Me, we are trying to do exactly that. Our belief is simple, if we provide consumers with options to go green and turn it into a regular product category, there will be more and more number of people willing to make the choice.
